Position: Wildlife Research Scientist

Job Summary:

Are you a nature enthusiast with a deep interest in understanding and conserving our natural ecosystems? SwRI is looking for a talented Wildlife Research Scientist to conduct groundbreaking research and contribute to the protection of Texas' diverse wildlife populations.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute research projects on wildlife behavior, ecology, and conservation.
Develop innovative methodologies for wildlife monitoring and data collection.
Analyze research findings, prepare reports, and present scientific discoveries.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex ecological issues.
Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders and organizations.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in Ecology, Conservation Biology, Wildlife Management, or related field.
Extensive experience conducting field research related to wildlife.
Strong knowledge of wildlife habitats, behavior, and conservation principles.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
Excellent communication skills for conveying complex scientific concepts.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
