Your Role

As a Legal Expertise and Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that CDC operates within legal boundaries and abides by regulatory requirements. You will provide comprehensive legal advice and support to our various business units, safeguarding our operations and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry practices affecting our organization.
Provide guidance on legal and regulatory issues related to our operations, including contracts, compliance, and risk management.
Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements.
Assess potential legal risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Review and negotiate legal agreements, including contracts with external vendors, partners, and clients.
Keep abreast of relevant legal developments and effectively communicate changes and updates to stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to our senior management, guiding strategic decision-making in compliance and legal matters.
Provide legal training and awareness sessions to employees to ensure a high level of corporate governance.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

A Law degree from a reputable university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a legal advisory role or similar capacity.
In-depth knowledge of French legal system, regulatory framework, and corporate law.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
Experience in the financial or banking industry is highly desirable.
