As part of our ongoing efforts, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sustainability Specialist.

Position Overview:

Develop and implement sustainability initiatives for educational institutions in New Jersey
Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient practices and technologies
Collaborate with schools and communities to create awareness and engagement in environmental issues
Conduct research on sustainable development strategies
Provide guidance and support to schools in achieving environmental certifications and awards
Assist in policy development and advocacy for sustainable practices in the education sector

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
Strong understanding of sustainability principles
Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in project management and data analysis preferred
