Your Role

As an Excursion Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for curating and coordinating bespoke itineraries for our discerning clientele. Your exceptional attention to detail and passion for creating remarkable journeys will be key in delivering unforgettable adventures in our captivating region.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized excursion planning services tailored to clients' preferences and budgets.
Coordinate with local partners to ensure seamless logistics, including transport, accommodation, and activity bookings.
Create and maintain strong relationships with a network of tour operators, guides, and other industry professionals.
Stay up-to-date with local attractions, events, and prevailing trends to continuously enhance our portfolio of offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire vacation experience, being readily available for any queries or support required.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our extraordinary experiences and attract new clients.
Manage bookings, reservations, and any necessary administrative tasks related to excursions.

Requirements

Proven experience in the tourism industry or a related field, with a deep knowledge of South Island attractions and activities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational abilities, ensuring efficient itinerary planning and flawless execution.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for providing personalized and exceptional customer service.
An affinity for sales and the ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including CRM tools, reservation systems, and digital communication platforms.
