We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team at South Ocean Holdings in the Western Cape region of South Africa. As a Pet Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our beloved animal companions.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and compassionate care to all animals in our care
Assist in daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, and exercise routines
Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health conditions
Maintain a clean and safe environment for the animals
Collaborate with the team to plan and implement various activities and programs
Offer guidance and support to fellow team members

Requirements:

Prior experience working with animals in a professional capacity
Strong knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and health
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for animals and commitment to their welfare
