About the Role:

As our Rural Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sustainable growth of Montana's agricultural and rural communities. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing innovative infrastructure projects that enhance the productivity, safety, and efficiency of these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate existing agricultural and rural infrastructures to identify areas for improvement and modernization
Develop strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure upgrades
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all infrastructure projects
Coordinate with government agencies, community organizations, and industry experts to secure funding and resources
Analyze data and research trends to inform decision-making processes
Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure planning and development
Strong knowledge of agricultural and rural systems, including irrigation, transportation, and utilities
Proven track record of managing and executing infrastructure projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative and sustainable solutions
