About the Role:

As an Advanced Security Specialist at DoorDash, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our platform, customers, and partners. You will utilize your expertise in security and risk management to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement robust security solutions. Through proactive planning and continuous monitoring, you will help us maintain our industry-leading standards.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective countermeasures.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating them into our security framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures throughout the organization and provide guidance on best practices.
Develop and deliver security training programs to raise awareness and educate employees.

Requirements:

Strong background in security-related roles, including risk assessment, incident response, and security architecture.
Excellent knowledge of current security methodologies and technologies.
Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing.
Ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are preferred.
