The Role: Curator

As a Curator at Nordiska museet - Upplandsmuseet, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our collections. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting research and analysis on historical artifacts
Designing and curating exhibitions that captivate and educate visitors
Developing innovative storytelling techniques to present the cultural significance of our collection
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of artifacts
Collaborating with other museum professionals to create interdisciplinary exhibitions

Requirements:

A degree in History, Art History, Cultural Studies, or a related field
Proven experience in curating exhibitions, preferably in a museum or cultural institution
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passionate about preserving cultural heritage and making it accessible to a diverse audience
