Position: Environmental Stewardship Engineer
AIT is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Environmental Stewardship Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral member, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing sustainability practices within the fields of aviation and aerospace.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage environmental stewardship initiatives within the aviation/aerospace sector
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact
- Monitor and assess current practices, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate sustainability principles into project development
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and practices to enhance environmental performance
- Promote environmental stewardship and sustainability through education and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of aviation and aerospace systems and technologies
- Experience in environmental stewardship or sustainability management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for driving positive environmental change
