Position: Environmental Stewardship Engineer

AIT is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Environmental Stewardship Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral member, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing sustainability practices within the fields of aviation and aerospace.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage environmental stewardship initiatives within the aviation/aerospace sector
Identify and implement innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact
Monitor and assess current practices, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
Collaborate with internal departments to integrate sustainability principles into project development
Conduct research on emerging technologies and practices to enhance environmental performance
Promote environmental stewardship and sustainability through education and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of aviation and aerospace systems and technologies
Experience in environmental stewardship or sustainability management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Passion for driving positive environmental change
