Position Overview:

As a Franchise Development Specialist at BankUnited, you will play a key role in helping our franchise and chain clients achieve their growth objectives. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing franchisees, identifying new business opportunities, and providing comprehensive financial solutions tailored to their needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with industry leaders and drive the success of our franchise clients.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for franchise and chain clients, building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential franchise development opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized financial solutions and present proposals to clients
Assist clients in evaluating financial feasibility, conducting due diligence, and facilitating the acquisition or expansion of franchise businesses
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics affecting the franchise/chain sector
Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchise clients, ensuring their long-term success and satisfaction

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience in franchise development, commercial banking, or related roles
Strong understanding of franchising, financial analysis, and risk assessment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to manage complex relationships and negotiate agreements
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
