Job Description:
TruGreen, a leading landscaping and outdoor services company in South Dakota, is seeking passionate individuals for the position of Outdoor Wellness Specialist. Join our dynamic team and make a difference by promoting healthy and active lifestyles!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outdoor wellness programs that promote physical fitness and overall well-being
- Create, coordinate, and lead group activities such as hiking, trail running, cycling, and team sports
- Organize and manage outdoor fitness events and challenges
- Provide educational presentations on the benefits of outdoor activities and how they contribute to a healthy lifestyle
- Collaborate with local schools, community centers, and organizations to expand participation in outdoor wellness programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Passion for promoting physical fitness and wellness
- Experience in organizing and leading outdoor activities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Knowledge of safety protocols and first aid
- Certification in fitness training or related field is a plus
