Position: Pet Care Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care and attention to pets and animals in our facilities
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all animals
- Handle pet grooming procedures such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
- Monitor the behavior and health of animals regularly
- Assist with the intake and adoption process
- Educate pet owners on proper care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate records of animal information
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the well-being of animals
Requirements:
- Experience working with animals, preferably with a focus on pets
- Passion for providing excellent care to animals
- Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and first aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays when required
- Valid driver's license
- Certification in animal care or related fields is a plus
