Position: Cultural Ambassador

Roles and Responsibilities:
Engage with tourists and provide exceptional customer service.
Act as a knowledgeable source, promoting the unique cultural aspects of the region, including historical landmarks, local traditions, and folklore.
Assist in planning and organizing cultural events, ensuring visitors have authentic and immersive experiences.
Collaborate with various local stakeholders to promote cross-cultural exchange and understanding.
Share insights and recommendations on activities, attractions, and accommodations tailored to meet individual visitor preferences.
Play an active role in enhancing the overall visitor experience during their time in Iceland.

Requirements:

A passion for interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in at least one additional language, such as Spanish, French, Chinese, German, or Japanese.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of the Northeastern Region and its cultural heritage is highly desirable.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, including weekends and holidays.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with local offerings and attractions.
