We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team at The Algonquin Resort St. Andrews by-the-Sea, located in beautiful New Brunswick, Canada. We are currently searching for a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the position of Pet Care Specialist.
At our resort, we understand the importance of treating our furry friends as cherished guests. As a Pet Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our guests' beloved companions.
About Our Resort:

- We strive to provide exceptional hospitality services to all our guests and their pets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for pets staying at our resort,
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for our four-legged guests,
- Feed, groom, and exercise pets according to their owners' requests,
- Ensure pets have access to clean water and fresh food at all times,
- Offer personal attention, playtime, and affection to pets,
- Monitor pets' behavior and report any concerns to the pet owners,
- Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding pet safety and health,
- Maintain clean and sanitary pet areas at all times,
- Assist with administrative tasks related to pet care, including record-keeping and documentation of any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated love and understanding of pets and their unique needs,
- Previous experience working with animals preferred,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills,
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team,
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
