We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team at Valle d'Aosta Regional Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in the beautiful Aosta Valley, Italy. As a Wildlife Conservation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preserving and protecting the region's diverse wildlife and natural habitats.

Responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys and research to assess the status of local wildlife populations and their habitats.
Develop and implement conservation strategies to promote the sustainable management of natural resources.
Collaborate with government agencies, environmental organizations, and local communities to raise awareness about wildlife conservation.
Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation programs and recommend improvements.
Participate in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured or orphaned wildlife.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
Proven experience in wildlife research, conservation, or environmental management.
Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna, as well as environmental laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
