Position: Animal Welfare Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and well-being across our facilities. Your primary tasks will include:

Developing and implementing animal welfare policies and procedures
Conducting regular inspections and audits to evaluate and improve animal welfare practices
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to create and provide animal care training programs
Monitoring and reporting on the condition and behavior of animals
Contributing to the design and construction of animal-friendly environments
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in animal welfare

Required Qualifications and Skills

A degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related field
Experience in implementing animal welfare programs or initiatives
Strong understanding of animal behavior and welfare regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in relevant software and technology
