Position Overview:

Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance Catalonian agriculture and rural sector.
Coordinate and collaborate with local farmers, researchers, and industry stakeholders to identify challenges and explore sustainable solutions.
Lead and participate in research projects focused on improving agricultural practices, crop yield, resource management, and environmental sustainability.
Promote knowledge transfer and engage in outreach activities to disseminate research findings and foster collaboration within the agricultural community.
Stay up-to-date with emerging agricultural technologies, trends, and policies to leverage opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements:

Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field such as agricultural sciences, agronomy, horticulture, or related disciplines.
Proven track record of research excellence and innovation in the field of agriculture, with a focus on sustainability and rural development.
Expertise in applying cutting-edge technologies and data-driven approaches to address agricultural challenges.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.
