The Montana Department of Justice (MDOJ), based in the beautiful state of Montana, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Athlete Engagement Specialist. Our mission is to provide justice services, promote public safety, and deliver quality professional assistance to the citizens of Montana.

Your Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about athletics and entertainment and possesses the ability to engage with athletes and other sports professionals. As an Athlete Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering relationships between the department and the sports/entertainment community through various initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement programs to engage athletes and prominent sports personalities in community outreach initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, sports teams, and entertainment industry professionals.
Create and execute marketing strategies to promote department initiatives through sports/entertainment platforms.
Organize events, seminars, and workshops to educate athletes about the legal system and their rights and responsibilities.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
Stay up-to-date with current sports/entertainment industry trends and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management, or a related field.
Proven experience working with athletes or in the sports/entertainment industry.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
An understanding of legal processes and regulations pertaining to sports/entertainment is preferred.
