Sustainable Product Development Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sustainable Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Arizona. As a Sustainable Product Development Engineer at Microchip, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and promote sustainable practices in the beauty/healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable product designs that minimize environmental impact
- Research and implement eco-friendly materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to sustainability and environmental protection
- Conduct thorough product life cycle assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Optimize existing products for increased sustainability, durability, and recyclability
- Work closely with suppliers to source sustainable materials
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in sustainable product development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in sustainable product development, preferably in the beauty/healthcare industry
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, certifications, and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
