As an Animal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our animal residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily care and attentiveness to the animals at our facility, including feeding, grooming, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Monitor and assess the health and behavior of the animals, notifying the appropriate staff of any concerns or changes.
Develop and implement appropriate enrichment activities to promote physical and mental stimulation for the animals.
Assist with training and socialization routines to ensure the animals are well-behaved and ready for adoption.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain accurate records, including medical histories and behavioral observations.

Requirements:

Prior experience in animal care or a related field is preferred.
A genuine passion for working with animals and providing them with the best possible care.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to handle various animal species, including cats, dogs, and small mammals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
