The Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development is seeking an experienced and highly qualified individual to join our dynamic team as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Responsibilities:

Evaluate and ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and policies
Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance
Develop and implement compliance strategies, procedures, and best practices
Provide guidance and training to colleagues and stakeholders regarding compliance matters
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve compliance processes
Stay updated on industry trends, changes in legislation, and emerging best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or related role
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) are preferred but not required
