We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team at Mercedes-Benz South Africa in the Eastern Cape. As a Supply Chain Champion, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our products through the entire supply chain, from sourcing to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategically plan and manage logistics, procurement, and distribution processes
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to optimize supply chain operations
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, making recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain
Implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role
Understanding of supply chain principles and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in the use of supply chain management software
