We are thrilled to announce an exciting career opportunity at North Carolina Theatre in the heart of North Carolina! We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Creative Artistic Director to lead our exceptional team in delivering captivating theatrical experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a creative vision for the overall artistic direction of North Carolina Theatre, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
Oversee the casting process, ensuring the selection of exceptionally talented performers to bring our productions to life.
Collaborate with designers, directors, and other creative staff to guide the artistic concept and style of each production.
Schedule and lead rehearsals, providing guidance and support to actors, singers, and dancers.
Manage the production budget and allocate resources effectively to ensure the highest production value within financial constraints.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging talent to maintain the artistic excellence and relevance of our productions.
Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, artists, and local arts organizations to foster a vibrant and collaborative arts community.
Provide artistic input and recommendations on marketing strategies to enhance audience engagement and maximize ticket sales.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Artistic Director or in a similar role within the performing arts industry.
Deep knowledge and appreciation of theatre, musicals, and performing arts.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards artistic excellence.
Strong creative vision and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality productions.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with artists, designers, and staff.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Understanding of budgeting and financial management within the arts.
A passion for fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts community.
