Position: Sardinian Language Preservation Specialist

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to revive and maintain the Sardinian language
Create comprehensive language preservation programs and initiatives
Collaborate with local communities, educational institutions, and language experts
Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote Sardinian language proficiency
Conduct research on Sardinian linguistic history, syntax, and folklore
Design and implement engaging language learning resources and materials
Provide translation and interpretation services as required
Collaborate with government entities and policymakers to advocate for language protection and recognition

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Cultural Studies, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
Fluency in Sardinian language (both written and spoken)
Strong knowledge of Sardinian history, culture, and linguistic nuances
Passion for language preservation and cultural heritage
Excellent communication and intercultural skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment
Prior experience in language revitalization projects is an advantage
