Job Opening: Agricultural Wellness Specialist

Agder Sustainable Agriculture is excited to open a new role for an Agricultural Wellness Specialist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for talented professionals to contribute their expertise in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable wellness programs for agricultural workers
Conduct research on best practices and technologies related to agricultural health and wellness
Collaborate with various departments to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall agricultural operations
Educate and train workers on the importance of personal and mental well-being
Lead workshops and seminars on stress management, nutrition, and overall health
Stay updated on industry trends and developments in agricultural wellness
Provide guidance on implementation of wellness policies and procedures

Requirements:

Degree in a related field (e.g., public health, nutrition, psychology)
Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs
Strong knowledge of agricultural industry and related challenges to worker well-being
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate wellness concepts to diverse audiences
Passionate about sustainable agriculture and its impact on health
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
