Skyborne Systems Specialist

In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of aerial operations, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and advancements in the field. You will work closely with a team of aviation enthusiasts to ensure the effective and safe use of aerial systems within the Saskatchewan region.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of aerial systems strategies and initiatives
Perform regular evaluations of airborne equipment and technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for innovation
Implement risk management strategies and develop contingency plans for potential issues or emergencies
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the SLGA's aviation operations
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation operations or related technical roles
Demonstrated knowledge of aerial systems, unmanned aircraft, and aerospace technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Valid pilot's license and considerable flying experience (preferred)
Understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
