Position: Experienced Animal Care Specialist

Job Description:

Provide expert care and supervision for animals under our care, ensuring their safety, security, and overall health.
Oversee the daily tasks related to maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for animals.
Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments as per veterinary instructions.
Maintain accurate records of each animal's health, behavior, and progress.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, offering professional advice and guidance on animal care.
Coordinate and participate in the training and socialization programs for animals.
Monitor the overall well-being of animals, recognizing and responding promptly to any signs of distress or illness.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with animals and pets, preferably in an animal care facility or veterinary clinic.
Demonstrated knowledge of different animal breeds, their behavior, and specific care needs.
Strong passion for animal welfare, with a commitment to providing the highest level of care.
Excellent observation and problem-solving skills to address animal-related issues.
Ability to maintain composure and handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Good physical stamina, as the role may involve handling and lifting animals of various sizes.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
Valid driver's license preferred.
