Position: Sicilian Agriculture Ambassador
At Messina Regional Cultural Festival Association, we believe that agriculture is the heart of our community, connecting us to our proud heritage and shaping our Sicilian way of life. Understanding the deep connection between agriculture and culture, we are seeking an Agriculture Ambassador to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between local farmers, artisans, and festival organizers
- Promote sustainable farming methods and highlight traditional agricultural practices
- Organize agricultural exhibitions and workshops during cultural festivals
- Collaborate with local communities to create agritourism experiences
- Coordinate with educational institutions to develop programs related to Sicilian agriculture and rural life
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for Sicilian culture and agriculture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of local agricultural practices and regional products
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in event organization or agricultural field is a plus
