Position: Community Outreach Coordinator
Job Description:
- Plan and organize community events and outreach programs
- Work alongside local organizations to create partnerships and collaborations
- Develop and implement strategies to promote community engagement
- Coordinate and manage volunteer teams
- Create and maintain a network of sponsors and donors to support community initiatives
- Ensure events align with our core values of social responsibility and environmental awareness
- Measure and report on the impact of community events
- Stay updated on current community needs and trends
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in community initiatives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning, community outreach, or related fields
- A passion for making a positive impact in the community
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Must be willing to travel within North Carolina
