Position: Advanced Transportation Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Transportation Analyst to join our dynamic team in Wisconsin. In this role, you will work closely with our supply chain and operations departments to optimize transportation strategies, improve efficiency, and enhance overall logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Analyze transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain transportation models and forecasting tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective and efficient transportation plans
Implement strategies to improve on-time delivery, reduce lead time, and minimize transportation costs
Monitor carrier performance metrics and negotiate contracts to maximize service quality and minimize costs
Provide recommendations to senior management on transportation optimization and process improvement initiatives
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field
Proven experience in transportation analysis, preferably in the logistics industry
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
Advanced knowledge of Excel and transportation management systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
