Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement horticultural strategies for our cooperative's agricultural projects
- Manage and maintain the cooperative's agricultural areas, including crops, gardens, and orchards
- Provide expertise and guidance to cooperative members on horticultural practices, crop rotation, pest control, and sustainable farming methods
- Collaborate with the cooperative's maintenance team to ensure proper irrigation, landscaping, and maintenance of green spaces
- Monitor and optimize plant health, crop yields, and resource utilization
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for members to promote knowledge sharing and community engagement
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field
- Proven experience in horticulture management, ideally on agricultural projects
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and sustainable farming practices
- Proficiency in modern horticultural techniques, precision irrigation systems, and pest management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Passion for promoting sustainable practices and improving quality of life in rural communities
