We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team at Baugenossenschaft Familienheim Mosbach eG, a leading housing cooperative in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Horticulture Specialist.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and implement horticultural strategies for our cooperative's agricultural projects
Manage and maintain the cooperative's agricultural areas, including crops, gardens, and orchards
Provide expertise and guidance to cooperative members on horticultural practices, crop rotation, pest control, and sustainable farming methods
Collaborate with the cooperative's maintenance team to ensure proper irrigation, landscaping, and maintenance of green spaces
Monitor and optimize plant health, crop yields, and resource utilization
Conduct workshops and training sessions for members to promote knowledge sharing and community engagement

Your Qualifications:

Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field
Proven experience in horticulture management, ideally on agricultural projects
Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and sustainable farming practices
Proficiency in modern horticultural techniques, precision irrigation systems, and pest management
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Passion for promoting sustainable practices and improving quality of life in rural communities
