Position: Environmental Stewardship Coordinator

In alignment with our mission, we are looking for an Environmental Stewardship Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Environmental Stewardship Coordinator, you will actively contribute to conserving Alaska's natural resources, promoting sustainability, and raising awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy environment.

Your Role:

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, communities, and organizations, to develop and implement environmentally impactful projects.
Organize and coordinate outreach programs focused on education and community engagement to raise awareness about ecological conservation.
Research and analyze environmental policies, trends, and best practices, providing recommendations for action.
Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with diverse stakeholders to address shared environmental concerns.
Contribute to grant writing and fundraising efforts to support environmental initiatives.
Regularly assess and report on the progress of environmental projects, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
Passion for environmental issues, sustainability, and promoting a greener future.
Proven experience in project coordination and community outreach.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
