Position: Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)
Job Description:
- Design and deliver personalized training programs tailored to individual goals, capabilities, and fitness levels.
- Conduct fitness assessments and develop comprehensive reports to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Provide professional guidance and instruction on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, nutritionists, and psychologists, to develop integrated wellness plans.
- Stay updated with the latest research and industry advancements, implementing evidence-based practices into training programs.
- Create a positive and motivating atmosphere for clients, fostering their commitment to reaching and surpassing their goals.
- Track client progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare progress reports.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and attend relevant workshops or conferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or related credentials.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports performance training or personal training.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Familiarity with performance tracking tools and software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Proven organizational and time management abilities.
- Fluency in both English and French is preferred.
