Responsibilities:

Research and select a diverse range of films for our program, considering both artistic and audience appeal
Coordinate with distributors, filmmakers, and industry professionals to secure screening rights and organize special events
Manage the scheduling and logistics of film screenings, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our patrons
Collaborate with marketing team to promote film screenings and engage the local community
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending film festivals and networking events to discover new talent and potential partnerships

Requirements:

Passion for film and a strong understanding of different genres, styles, and cultural significance
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with distributors, filmmakers, and industry professionals
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and budgets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
