Job Description:

Sovereign Grace Church of Winston-Salem is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Creative Sustainability Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and promoting initiatives that integrate art, design, and sustainability to foster a sense of social responsibility within our community and enhance our commitment to the environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for church events, programs, and communication materials.
Collaborate with various teams to design and promote eco-conscious practices both internally and externally.
Create visually appealing and informative materials that raise awareness about social and environmental issues.
Conduct research on sustainable design trends and innovative techniques.
Assess and advise on the environmental impact of church operations and propose environmentally friendly alternatives.
Organize and lead workshops and educational sessions on sustainable practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to sustainability and design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as graphic design, communication design, or environmental studies.
Proficient in using design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of sustainable design principles.
Excellent creativity and artistic ability.
Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas through visual representations.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Passionate about sustainability and promoting social responsibility.
