Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research projects aimed at advancing our understanding of marine ecosystems and conservation
  • Design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret results
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop research collaborations and secure funding opportunities
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in marine research and conservation science
  • Prepare and present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
  • Provide expertise and guidance to support the development of innovative approaches for improving aquarium operations and visitor engagement

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Marine Biology, Ecology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and managing research projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
