Position: Sustainable Tourism Specialist

Responsibilities:

Develop sustainable tourism strategies and policies aligned with our commitment to social responsibility and environmental conservation.
Assess the impact of tourism activities on the environment and local communities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement sustainable tourism practices, including waste management, energy efficiency, and conservation initiatives.
Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends, legislation, and best practices in sustainable tourism.
Design and deliver training programs to educate staff, visitors, and the local community on sustainable tourism practices.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and propose improvements accordingly.
Engage with tourism businesses and partners to promote sustainable practices and encourage their adoption.
Participate in regional and national forums to advocate for sustainable tourism policies and initiatives.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Environmental Science, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainable tourism, environmental management, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of sustainable tourism standards, certifications, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and community development.
Fluency in English and Swedish.
