Job Description:

Sika Group, a leading global specialty chemicals company, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Innovative Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing the efficiency of our operations, with a focus on the strategic management of resources and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity throughout the supply chain.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Analyze logistics data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and solutions to drive innovation within our logistics processes.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to explore potential collaborative projects and find new ways to optimize our logistics network.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements to anticipate and overcome operational challenges.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvements.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and work well under pressure.
Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
