Your Role:

As a Wildlife & Habitat Conservation Specialist, you will play a vital role in preserving the delicate balance between humans and wildlife in North Carolina.
You will act as an expert advisor, educating communities on wildlife conservation, management techniques, and sustainable practices.
Assessing habitats, monitoring wildlife populations, and implementing strategies to mitigate encounters and conflicts between animals and humans will be key responsibilities in this role.
Collaborating with stakeholders, government agencies, and wildlife enthusiasts, you will work towards creating awareness and implementing effective wildlife management policies.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, Conservation Science, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge and experience in wildlife biology, habitat management, and conservation practices.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with diverse audiences, including community members, industry professionals, and conservation organizations.
Ability to conduct field assessments, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions to mitigate wildlife conflicts.
Experience working in collaborative environments and leading conservation initiatives with proven outcomes.
