Svalbard Museum is seeking a passionate individual to join us as a Wildlife Conservation Officer. In this unique role, you will play a key part in conserving the delicate ecological balance of Svalbard og Jan Mayen through education, research, and community outreach.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct research on local flora and fauna to support conservation efforts
Design and deliver educational programs related to wildlife preservation
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in the region
Contribute to the museum's exhibitions and special events
Participate in fieldwork and wildlife monitoring activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
Experience working in wildlife conservation or environmental education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for nature and willingness to work in remote Arctic environments
