Position: Cultural Movement Specialist

Job Description: As a Cultural Movement Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and leading innovative movement programs that promote holistic well-being and cultural awareness. Your role will involve engaging with students, staff, and the community to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle in a culturally sensitive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement culturally relevant movement activities and workshops.
Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Collaborate with faculty and student organizations to promote physical wellness on campus.
Organize and lead events that celebrate the intersection of movement, culture, and identity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Cultural Studies, Kinesiology, Dance, or related disciplines).
Experience in designing and delivering movement programs in a multicultural setting.
Understanding of the impact of culture on physical activity and well-being.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through movement.
