Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of all Red Cross facilities and operations with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Monitor and assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Create and implement environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental compliance matters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field.
Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Certification in environmental compliance (preferred).
