Position: Sustainable Development Coordinator
Location: Nairobi Metropolitan Area
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local communities, regional stakeholders, and government bodies to develop sustainable land usage strategies.
- Implement initiatives that promote agricultural productivity and rural development.
- Oversee projects aimed at enhancing food security and improving the livelihoods of rural populations.
- Utilize advanced technologies to optimize resource allocation and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of development projects on the agricultural sector within the metropolitan area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Proven experience in sustainable development projects, preferably in urban environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data related to agricultural and rural development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a passion for fostering community engagement.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in the realm of sustainable agriculture.
