Position: Sustainable Development Specialist

As a Sustainable Development Specialist at WHO, your role will involve exploring innovative strategies to enhance sustainability in the energy and environmental sector. You will collaborate with international experts, governments, and stakeholders to develop and implement policies and initiatives that address global challenges.



Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify energy and environmental challenges
  • Develop and implement sustainable development strategies and initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote renewable energy sources and environmental protection
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of programs and initiatives
  • Provide technical assistance and support to member states

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, sustainable development, public policy)
  • Proven experience in energy and environmental projects or initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships
