Position Available: Heritage Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team at the Israel Antiquities Authority. As a Heritage Conservation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preserving and protecting our rich cultural heritage in the Jerusalem District.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations of historical sites and artifacts
Develop and implement conservation plans and strategies
Collaborate with archaeological experts and other professionals in the field
Ensure compliance with national and international heritage conservation standards
Contribute to research and publications related to heritage conservation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Art History, Conservation Science, or a related field
Previous experience in heritage conservation or related field preferred
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in heritage conservation
