We are seeking a passionate, visionary strategist to join our team at the Catalan Council for Foreign Affairs (CCFA) in Catalonia, Spain. As a Sustainable Development Strategist, you will play a key role in driving forward initiatives that focus on fostering growth and sustainability in the Catalan agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the sustainability and productivity of agricultural practices in Catalonia
Collaborating with local farmers, government agencies, and international partners to promote environmentally friendly and economically viable agricultural solutions
Conducting research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for sustainable development in the rural sector
Evaluating the impact of existing policies and proposing recommendations for improvement
Participating in high-level discussions and advocacy efforts to promote the importance of sustainable agricultural practices

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sustainable development projects
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English and Spanish
Passion for driving positive change in the agricultural sector
