We are seeking a passionate, visionary strategist to join our team at the Catalan Council for Foreign Affairs (CCFA) in Catalonia, Spain. As a Sustainable Development Strategist, you will play a key role in driving forward initiatives that focus on fostering growth and sustainability in the Catalan agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the sustainability and productivity of agricultural practices in Catalonia
- Collaborating with local farmers, government agencies, and international partners to promote environmentally friendly and economically viable agricultural solutions
- Conducting research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for sustainable development in the rural sector
- Evaluating the impact of existing policies and proposing recommendations for improvement
- Participating in high-level discussions and advocacy efforts to promote the importance of sustainable agricultural practices
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sustainable development projects
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Passion for driving positive change in the agricultural sector
