We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join Göteborgs Dans & Teater Festival - a leading cultural organization in the heart of Västra Götalands län, Sweden. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to fill the position of Cultural Engagement Specialist.

Your Role

As a Cultural Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in connecting our festival with a diverse audience. You will be responsible for developing strategies to engage multicultural communities, ensuring our events are inclusive and accessible to all. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing outreach programs to effectively engage multicultural communities
Collaborating with local organizations to promote and increase participation in our festival
Organizing cultural events and workshops to foster dialogue and understanding
Designing and executing marketing campaigns targeting diverse communities
Managing social media platforms to promote our cultural initiatives
Providing support to artists and participants from diverse backgrounds

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Proven experience in cultural engagement, preferably within the arts and entertainment industry
Strong knowledge and understanding of different cultures, with an ability to navigate cultural sensitivities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional organizational skills
Passion for the performing arts and a commitment to inclusivity
