As the Sustainability Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in fostering our commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that promote sustainability, reduce our carbon footprint, and drive positive social impact within Nairobi Metropolitan and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish and oversee sustainable practices and initiatives.
- Monitor and assess the environmental impact of airport operations and develop improvement plans.
- Engage with local communities to drive social responsibility programs and initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and implement relevant sustainability policies.
- Organize and participate in environmental and community outreach programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
- Proven experience in sustainability management or corporate social responsibility.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
