Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Tourism Board is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Sustainable Lands Management Specialist. Our organization is dedicated to promoting the beauty and charm of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and supporting sustainable practices in the local agricultural sector.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee sustainable land management practices in collaboration with local farmers and landowners.
- Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative solutions for enhancing agricultural sustainability in the region.
- Provide guidance and support to farmers on best practices for soil conservation, water management, and biodiversity preservation.
- Organize workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on sustainable farming techniques.
- Collaborate with government agencies and environmental organizations to promote conservation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field.
- Proven experience in sustainable agriculture, land management, or rural development.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret scientific research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
