Save Our Sandhills, a leading environmental conservation organization based in North Carolina, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Data Insights Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making and support our mission of preserving the unique ecosystem of the Sandhills region.

As a Data Insights Strategist, you will:

Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize our conservation efforts and maximize impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and conduct research studies, surveys, and experiments.
Translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations for senior management.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics).
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a research or strategic planning role.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Passion for environmental conservation and a desire to make a positive impact.
